Another very interesting story one your grandad would have been fascinated by

Paul, where do you dig for those stories? I enjoy them a lot. When I read these old stories (I heard similar from old family members) it always inspires imagination. Did strange things happen more often in olden times? Were animals, who were more numerous back then, acting the way they would not act today? Or maybe, people invented things and then press eagerly repeated them?

Some hints are there already - the word “boogle” spotted my attention. Back then, people had a special word to describe a group of weasels. If such a word exists, it means such groups must have appeared frequently. Today - have you ever seen two or more weasels? Wait… have you ever seen a weasel? Wait…can you even tell a difference between a weasel, ermine and a marten?

Anyways. It was pleasure to read.

P.S. I have seen two badgers lately, and this encounter was special. They will appear in my next story.
